Funds Raising to Build the

UN Day 2010 Memorial

On the 24th October 2010 the Military Brotherhood will unveil a memorial in Canungra, Queensland, dedicated to commemorating United Nations Day and the service and sacrifices made by Australian Defence and Police personnel who have fallen during UN missions.

Donations are now being sought and will be duly noted below and on the day. Anyone can become a sponsor, both individuals and organisations. A SALUTING THIER SERVICE grant from DVA will be requested to match our contributions dollar for dollar. A receipt will be issued for tax purposes.

Additionally, as discussion on the design of the memorial is finalised with local authorities, the actual plans and graphic representation will be advised on this website.
