Operation Roundup 2012 - VAC SLIPPER

Operation Roundup is the MBMMC bi-annual get-together. The first get-together is now scheduled over the Queen's Birthday weekend of

8-11 June 2012

Social Activities:

Our subcommittee for the gathering is now organising some activities around Brisbane and the Gold Coast for members and thier families who are interested in seeing the area. More on what they come up with very shortly.

Lenny's 50th

On the Saturday night we will all celebrate Lenny's 50th birthday. He has family members coming from as far as NZ. Will be a great night.

Transport from/to Airports:

For those members who fly into either Gold Coast or Brisbane airports, pickup will be arranged.

Accommodation:

Accommodation will be provided at VAC SLIPPER for anyone who wants to stay. Facilities include both bunk rooms and camping, showers and toilets. Upmarket accommodation at hotel/motel is up to the member.

Dining:

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be provided at the VAC. The VAC has a large kitchen and dining area and bar facilities.

Costs:

Costs at this point (internal to the VAC) will only involve food and drinks. We are looking at a simple cost of $5 per meal per head. Those members who wish to take a night off and go to a restaurant do not need to pay the $5.
