Thank you and all the members of the Military Brotherhood MMC for an outstanding United Nations Day Service on Sat 24th Oct 2009, “par ex•cel•lence”. All your members are a credit to the club.
As a 20yr veteran I am filled with admiration and respect for the tremendous work you and your members do on behalf of the military. It is much appreciated.
The service and readings by today’s guest speakers highlighted the role of the United Nations to end violence and promote tolerance. It was also an opportunity to reflect on, and acknowledge, the important contributions Australians have made to United Nations campaigns.

Please extend my appreciation to the friendly RSL staff for their fine food and service.
I look forward crossing paths soon.

Regards Brownie (Kiwi)

Gentlemen,

It was a privilege to attend the UN Commemoration Day Service at Canungra yesterday. You did a fantastic job of putting together a meaningful and respectful ceremony.

I served the best part of 20 years in the British Army, but never got a UN duty myself. I know plenty of guys who did manage a tour with the UN, and sadly a couple of guys who didn’t make it home. So Saturday’s parade was very poignant. Skip’s piece was particularly moving.

Well done and thank you. I hope very much to be there next year.

G'Day Mucho

Thank you to Yourself,Daf and all of your Brethren for a great day today. I personally found the service very moving and reminded me of why we do or did the things we have done and that others still are. You all made us feel very welcome and privileged to be part of it all. The camaraderie was great. Hope you all have a great and safe ride and we'll have to put our heads together and organise a couple of joint rides maybe.

Hi Mucho,

Please pass on my sincere thanks to all the others involved for organising this event.  The UNTAC Reunion boys really enjoyed the day and it proved to be a very moving and emotional experience for us, a day we won't forget.

I hope this annual event gets bigger and more successful each year.

Once again, thank you and well done to all involved.

All the best, Marcus and the UNTAC lads.

Afternoon Mucho,

Thank you for inviting me to the United Nations Day Memorial Service. I had the chance to speak with a few of the “Brotherhood” and it was certainly an excellent commemoration service.

Best wishes

To All members of the Club,

I want to say thank you for the honour of being part of the UN Commemoration Service at Canungra on Saturday 24 Oct 2009
You guys are to be congratulated for the time and effort obviously taken to conduct a service of that nature. This is the second time I have had the privilege of participating and again also found it very moving particularly when I watched the laying of the wreaths and someone stepped forward to place a small photograph of some one special to them. The singer was a great idea and added a special dimension to the atmosphere of the service. Aas a Padre I felt it was a God honouring service, so once again well done to the Brotherhood, and all who supported the service.
God bless.
